The Hartmann Rolta Soft synthetic cotton undercast padding is used as a liner beneath plaster, support and compression bandages. It is made from non-absorbent polyester fibres with a crepe texture and is permeable to air and exudate. It retains its elasticity under continuous mechanical stress and heavy fluid flow, while its anti-slip, self-retaining properties ensure a crease-free fit.
It can also be used to line splints and the inside of tubular bandages. It is easy to apply and remove by hand.
