Clear- Two-stage pumps achieve a deeper vacuum and are essential for professional applications and large systems, while single-stage pumps are sufficient for smaller or DIY tasks (e.g., automotive).
- Mains-powered pumps are ideal for long hours of use in fixed locations, while battery-powered pumps offer maximum portability and convenience in hard-to-reach places (e.g. rooftops)
- The lower the value in microns, the deeper (stronger) the vacuum achieved by the pump.
- The volume of air that can be pumped in one minute. A higher flow rate (CFM) means faster vacuum creation, and therefore time savings in large installations.
- Compatibility with Flammable Refrigerants: The pump features a special explosion-proof (spark-free/brushless) motor, making it safe for use with newer, mildly flammable refrigerants such as R32 and R1234yf.
- Solenoid Valve: Prevents the pump oil from flowing back into the cooling circuit in the event of a sudden power outage. It is a critical protection component for the installation.
