Clear- Active Foam (For Foam Lance): Active foam shampoos (Snow Foam) are specially designed for the pre-wash process, preparing the vehicle body so it won’t get scratched during the main wash with a sponge or wash mitt. They are mainly applied with a special foam cannon.
- Ceramic: Ceramic car shampoos (also known as Ceramic / SiO2 Shampoos) contain silicon dioxide (SiO2) and offer significantly superior protection compared to traditional wax-based shampoos.
- Silicone: Car shampoos with silicone are designed to provide immediate, impressive shine and exceptionally smooth surfaces during washing.
- For Hand Washing: Simple car shampoos are designed for one and only purpose: thorough, safe cleaning. They do not contain waxes, silicones, SiO2 polymers, or shine enhancers. They focus exclusively on the proper removal of dirt.
- With Wax: Car shampoos with wax (also known as Wash & Wax) are designed to combine cleaning and paint protection in a single step.
- The pH level may change when the product is diluted.
- Alkaline: The alkaline shampoo (with a pH usually from 9 to 12) removes old residues, leaving the paint “bare” and clean for the next stage. It is not suitable for maintaining vehicles with ceramic coatings.
- Neutral: Neutral car shampoo (pH 7) is the “king” of regular vehicle maintenance. It safely cleans the bodywork without affecting protective coatings or the car’s delicate materials.
- Acidic: Acidic car shampoo (with a pH usually from 2 to 5) is a specialized cleaner, designed mainly to tackle inorganic contaminants. It targets salts, mineral deposits, and buildup caused by the environment
