- Suction: They use the suction from the pool’s filtration pump to move and collect debris. They connect to the pool’s suction port (skimmer) via a flexible hose.
- Waterline: Specialized cleaning of the waterline, removing the "cloudy" layer of sunscreen and dust that accumulates on the surface.
- Tracks: They offer maximum traction and stability. They are essential for cleaning the walls and waterline, as they allow the robot to climb without slipping.
- Wheels: For fast and efficient cleaning of the pool floor. They offer greater coverage speed on flat surfaces and lower energy consumption.
- Smart Mapping: They scan the dimensions and shape of the pool, creating an optimal cleaning path. This way, they avoid unnecessary passes over the same spot and ensure that no area is left untouched.
- Obstacle Avoidance: With special sensors that detect objects such as stairs, drains, or pool toys. The robots automatically change course to avoid getting stuck, ensuring uninterrupted cleaning completion.
- Eco Mode: Energy-saving mode that optimizes the cleaning path for lower consumption. In cordless models, it allows scheduling of short cleaning cycles (e.g., 30 minutes) for several consecutive days on a single charge.
- Full Filter Indicator: They notify you (via indicator light or app) when the debris collection basket is full. This way, the robots always maintain maximum suction power.
- Double Filter: They feature two levels of filtration: one for large debris (leaves, stones) and one for very fine particles (dust, sand). They ensure crystal clear water and protect the pool’s filtration system.
- Fast Water Drainage: They allow water to drain immediately as you remove them from the pool. This makes the devices much lighter and easy to carry, without straining your back.
