Clear- Hub: The central component (hub) onto which the wind turbine blades are bolted and held, transferring motion to the shaft.
- Blades: Separate replacement blades that capture the wind to rotate the generator.
- Wind Turbine: Complete, ready-to-use power generation systems (small- or large-scale) that convert wind energy into electricity.
- Vertical: Wind turbines that rotate around an upright, vertical axis (like a rotating sign). They work with wind from any direction without needing to turn, are quieter, and are ideal for rooftops and residential areas.
- Horizontal: The classic design that looks like a windmill (with the blades in front). It is the most efficient type, as it makes maximum use of the wind’s power, but it must always be oriented toward the direction of the wind.
