- For Diabetics: Special, soft, and breathable socks that protect the feet from wounds, friction, and infections.
- Graduated Compression: Socks with gradually decreasing pressure applied to the leg (with higher pressure at the ankle and lower towards the calf), in order to facilitate venous blood return to the heart.
- Compression Class 1: Light compression that helps with good blood circulation, reduces pain and at the same time protects against venous diseases.
- Compression Class 2: Moderate compression for surface action against varicose veins, mild edema or after surgical intervention to maintain therapy.
- Compression Class 3: Strong compression for severe varicose veins with visible swelling, for advanced chronic venous insufficiency, and for reversible lymphedema.
- Compression Class 4: Extremely strong compression for severe thrombotic syndrome or irreversible lymphedema.
- Den: Unit of measurement for how transparent a pair of tights is. From 80 Den and above, it is considered opaque.
