- Amateur / DIY: For home use, decoration, simple space measurements (with measurement accuracy over ±2.0 mm).

- Professional / Precision: Suitable for engineers, construction, surveying (with measurement accuracy up to ± 1.5 mm).
- Volume: It is used to calculate the volume of a space (e.g. room, warehouse, office)
- Surface: It is used to calculate the area (m²) of a flat surface, such as a wall, floor, ceiling, or window.
- Triangle: It is used to calculate areas or distances that form a triangle, not necessarily a right triangle.
