Sub-C
- Li-ion: They offer more charging cycles compared to older ones based on nickel or lead. They do not discharge easily when stored and we can charge them whenever we want.
- Ni-MH: They offer great capacity and are made with more environmentally friendly materials compared to Ni-Cd batteries. They should only be recharged when fully discharged, otherwise they lose their performance.
- Ni-Cd: An older type of rechargeable battery that uses nickel hydroxide and metallic cadmium as electrodes. They have largely been replaced by newer technologies.
- Li-Mn(IMR): A type of rechargeable lithium-ion battery that uses manganese oxide as the material for its positive electrode (cathode). They are also commonly known as IMR batteries.
- Flat Top: Batteries with a completely flat positive terminal (+) that is flush with the battery body. An ideal choice for building battery packs.
- Direct USB-C Charging: A modern technology in rechargeable batteries, where the battery itself has a built-in USB-C port on its casing. You don’t need a separate, dedicated external charger to charge them.
