Your potatoes will be "fried" with the help of hot air and by following the 4 tips below, you will ensure the best possible result!
1. Cut the potatoes into thin pieces
The thinner the pieces, the faster they will cook and the crispier they will be!
2. Calculate the quantity correctly
For the best possible result, fill the basket just enough so that the potatoes cover the surface, but not so many that they cannot cook evenly and end up not being crispy.
3. Leave them in water or boil them in hot!
If you "wash" them, the excess starch will be removed from the potatoes, resulting in a better outcome.
Alternatively, if you want to try something different, you can boil them for a few minutes in salted water. The textured surface that forms on the potatoes will create the ideal condition for a crispy crust to form.
4. Add oil and seasonings
Even if they are not ''fried'' in oil, a small amount of olive oil will make them crispier. Add paprika or any other seasoning you want, but keep the salt and oregano for the end.
