Travel Tips: How to Organize Your Carry-On Bag When Traveling by Air!
Easy ways for proper organization!
Are you traveling with carry-on luggage and looking for a way to organize your suitcase properly? We have the solution for you!
First, start by buying a lightweight cabin suitcase with the right dimensions after carefully reading the baggage terms of the airline you are traveling with. Continue by making a list of everything essential for your trip. Then, start packing!
1. Choose the clothes & accessories you will take with you
Prefer a pair of shoes - the most comfortable ones you have for walking - that match all your outfits. Similarly, take neutral clothes with you, so you won't have trouble with combinations.
2. Roll all your clothes
Rolling method: it is a recommended way to save space in your suitcase by rolling your clothes into a cylindrical shape.
Alternatively, you can buy vacuum storage bags for clothes, as they solve the space problem.
3. Place the underwear separately
It is advisable to place the underwear in separate clothing organization compartments for hygiene reasons. Don't forget to take some underwear with you in your backpack, in case of loss of hand luggage.
4. Organize the liquids into small bottles
Place the liquids into small bottles of 50 or 100 ml, so they won't be confiscated at the airport and seal them in bags that close airtight.
5. Place all other accessories between the clothes
After organizing clothes, underwear, and liquids, place the remaining accessories in the suitcase pockets or between the clothes.
Tip: Don't forget to take a first aid kit bag.
6. Do a final check
Check each item on your list to make sure you have everything you will need.
7. Weigh Your Suitcase
After you check and close it, weigh it with a special luggage scale to ensure it hasn't exceeded the allowed weight.
Finally, attach a colored ribbon to easily identify it and write your details on a special luggage tag, so if you check it in, it won't get mixed up with another.
