Survival Guide for New Parents
First-time parents? You've got this! Remember that everything happens for the first time, and the best thing you can do while waiting for the stork to visit you - if it hasn't already! - is to prepare properly!
Here you will find all the essentials for the first months, to enjoy the first crawls!
Preparation for Mom
From breastfeeding and body care to the most useful books to prepare for what is to come, equip yourself with the essentials early on!
The Food
The glass baby bottles will make things easier for you in the first few months, as they are easier to clean. Check the temperature by pouring a little milk on your hand to make sure it is not too hot. Remember that after each meal, it is important to sterilize the bottle by boiling or using a sterilizer.
The Bath
Grab a plastic duck, make sure the water and the space are warm, and it's time for splash splash!
Sleep
Now it may sound taken for granted, but once the stork arrives, it will become... a luxury! Try to create a routine, such as eating, bathing, relaxing, and sleeping, and it's a good opportunity to learn what white noise is. Thank us later!
The walk
When it grows enough, it’s time for the first walks! To start with, a destination fairly close to home is ideal. Later, when the longer trips begin, a practical changing bag is always useful!
Care
Babies need their beauty routine too! Okay, not in the way it sounds. The grooming needs of an infant increase as they grow, with changes in their body becoming more pronounced, such as the appearance of their first teeth. But stay calm! Fortunately for you, there are many useful products that will help you in their daily care.
The Toilet
Newborns may need a diaper change more than 10 times a day, so stock up on… plenty. Baby wipes are also essential, and don't forget the appropriate ointment to deal with any potential skin irritations that may arise.
The Game
Meet your new buddies: Sophie the Giraffe, Peppa the Pig, and Jenny the Unicorn. Who are all these characters? You will find out soon!
Don't forget. Of all the things we mentioned, the most important ingredient for baby care is love! <3
