At this year's Galaxy Unpacked, the Galaxy S26 series was presented as a complete AI platform that does not wait for commands, but suggests solutions! With the 2nm architecture (which promises top performance with much lower battery consumption) and the introduction of Privacy Display (a technology that "locks" the screen from prying eyes), Samsung shows that this year's innovation lies in substance and not just in numbers.

The models included in the lineup

• the basic Galaxy S26

• a larger Galaxy S26+

• and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra

This particular approach allows the company to meet different user needs, from those who want a compact flagship to those seeking the ultimate camera and display experience.

Samsung Galaxy S26: The Compact Choice at 2nm

The base model of the series incorporates for the first time the Exynos 2600 processor at 2nm, which offers 12% faster CPU and improved Xclipse 960 GPU. 

The 6.3" display features a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz, while the battery has been upgraded to 4,300mAh for enhanced autonomy. 

Despite the increase in power, it remains the thinnest in the series with a thickness of just 7.2mm.

Samsung Galaxy S26+: Large Screen and Ultra-Fast Charging

The "Plus" version features a 6.7" display with the highest pixel density in the series (516ppi), offering exceptional clarity. 

It shares the same 2nm processor as the base model, but excels in power management with a 4,900mAh battery and support for 45W fast wired charging. 

The camera system includes an upgraded 12MP Telephoto sensor (1/2.55") for improved low-light performance.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Privacy Display and 200MP Camera

The flagship of the series stands out with the use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in all markets and the exclusive Privacy Display technology, which limits the viewing angle to protect data in public spaces. 

The main 200MP camera features a new lens with an f/1.4 aperture, while charging has been upgraded to 60W (Super Fast Charging 3.0). 

In terms of design, it adopts more rounded corners and an Armor Aluminum frame for better ergonomics.

What’s new in the series this year

• Agentic AI: The software can now perform complex actions (task execution) within third-party applications, such as bookings, orders, and calendar organization, through voice commands.

• APV Video Codec: Introduction of a professional-grade encoding standard for 8K video, ensuring higher quality with smaller file size.

• 7 Years of Support: Samsung commits to Android OS and security updates until 2033.
