Wedding outfits for men

Are you invited to a wedding this summer?

Here are some tips to help you feel comfortable yet elegant, no matter the dress code.

1. Men's Suit: The Safe Choice

A classic that flatters any man and never goes out of style. For this season, shades of blue and beige are the stars, and the slim fit cut remains on trend, elegantly highlighting the silhouette.

If you want to stand out from the crowd, you can opt for a suit with a double-breasted jacket (with two rows of buttons) worn with a plain T-shirt, for a modern look.

2. Gurkha trousers – elegance without a belt

The main characteristics of these very elegant trousers are that they are not worn with a belt, as they are designed to fit very well at the waist. Although they began their journey in England, they became a symbol of stylish Italians and then were adopted around the world.

The charm of these trousers is that they can be worn and look just as impressive at a wedding, whether with a shirt, a simple T-shirt, or a striped shirt, if the wedding has a more relaxed atmosphere.

The length of these trousers, which end at the ankle, is ideal because it gives you great freedom to wear any shoes you want, even canvas shoes if the dress code allows it.

3. Vest: ace up your sleeve

If you want to stand out discreetly with your style, a great idea is to invest in a vest. No matter how you look at it, it has a charm that will hardly lead you to style mistakes.

You can wear the vest in the "traditional" way, over a shirt and a tie, or you can wear it over a shirt with the top two buttons undone, for a more relaxed look.

In both cases, with the shirt make sure you roll up the cuff 2-3 times and pair it with slim-fit trousers that end just above the ankle.

If you want to add a playful touch, you can combine the look with a vibrantly patterned tie and maybe even a pocket square in the vest's lapel, if there is an available pocket.

4. Shirt - Trousers: the perfect combination

If you find yourself in a major style dilemma or if you haven't had time to look for an outfit for the summer wedding you're invited to, don't worry. Open your closet and take out your favorite summer trousers made from a good fabric and pair them with a cool shirt, made of linen or cotton.

This combination in particular is... unbeatable. To make a difference, you can choose a pair of trousers in a light color and pair them with a shirt in a pastel color, or you can go for a more "conservative" style and choose trousers in an earthy blue or navy shade with a classic crisp white shirt.

5. Chinos and Prints: For Beachside Weddings

If the wedding you are attending is by the sea and has a very relaxed atmosphere, wearing chino-style trousers with a short-sleeved shirt or rolled-up sleeves, together with loafer shoes, is an ideal scenario.

If you want to be even more casual, you can choose chinos in neutral colors and pair them with a linen shirt or a shirt with cheerful patterns.
