If you have a garden, summer is the ideal season to organize the most perfect children’s party... It will be unforgettable, both for the child and for your guests.

If you don’t have a garden, don’t worry at all... You can have the party in the driveway, at the playground, or in a nearby park!

And if you think you’ll be making unnecessary expenses, remember that whatever you buy will probably be used every year...

So don’t feel stressed at all... It doesn’t take effort, just the right way...

Folding tables and garden chairs

The first step you need to take is to clean the entire area of leaves, grass, and any trash that may have been blown in by the wind. Then you need to find the right spot to place the folding tables. There you will set all the party food and drinks.

They should be placed somewhere where the sun won’t hit them, so the food doesn’t spoil.

Of course, you also need folding garden chairs or director’s chairs.

Of course, the children should have their own tables and chairs, sized for them. It’s a good idea to place them near the adults’ tables, in case they need help during mealtime.

Party Decorations

Depending on the theme of the party, you should choose the appropriate decorations.

To create uniformity and make it aesthetically pleasing, cover the tables with beautiful tablecloths... Personally, I prefer stain-resistant ones, because they are easy to wash...

A wonderful choice, especially for children's tables, is children's tablecloths, especially for parties.

Be sure to get garlands, party hats, cups, plates, forks and spoons, and napkins in the same theme as the party.

As you can understand, there is no way you can organize a children's party without filling the space with colorful balloons.

My boys also go crazy for piñatas, which may be a foreign custom, but it is a big hit at our parties. I don't fill them with sweets, though, because I know that many parents dislike that, but with small gifts.

Outdoor toys for children

For a perfect party, you need to find ways to keep the kids entertained, so that the parents can relax and have a good time too.

Surely the easiest way is to hire a professional for one or two hours!

But if you prefer more freedom, you should have some outdoor toys, especially for the garden.

You can create a simple playground, with a slide, seesaw, swings and a ball pit!

If there is space, a trampoline will give freedom to the little rascals with endless energy.

For me, though, the most must-have children's toy is an inflatable castle for endless hours of play!

Another toy that children love very much is the water mat with sprinklers!

If you're looking for something even more extreme, for very hot summer days there are inflatable water slides!

Extra tips! 

About a month before, hand out the party invitations and order the cake. Both should match the theme you have chosen.

Surprise the little guests with an ice cream cone cart or face painting!

Finally, something very important... No matter how well the children play at the party, if they leave without a little gift, they will be disappointed... Make lovely little gifts together with your children for their friends and give one to each child just before they leave...
