There are many products on the market that you can use to achieve not only a better esthetic result, but also protection for your skin in the long term. Think of your skin as a canvas, where with skincare products you lay the foundation, and with makeup you add the finishing touch. 

But why do these combinations matter? 

They allow for better application of makeup, helping it to set evenly, while also providing longer lasting power, since hydrated skin is the ideal environment for makeup to stay in place. 

For me, the best combinations are 5, and I’ll reveal them to you along with the products I prefer. 

• Primer: for hydration in combination with a serum with hyaluronic. With these two products, you achieve deep hydration and “locking in” moisture in the skin. 
• Foundation and serum with niacinamide: The serum helps control oiliness and reduce pores. If you use it before your foundation, you will notice that the result lasts, without breaking apart. 
• Tinted moisturizer with SPF: I think words are unnecessary here since you already know how important sun protection is. For daily use, choose a tinted moisturizer with SPF or a tinted moisturizer with SPF and you’ll have the ideal combination; coverage and protection. 
• Highlighter and vitamin C: The vitamin gives the skin a glow, and if you combine it with your favorite highlighter, you’ll have a beautiful glowy result. 
• Lip gloss and peptide lip balm: Beautiful, plump lips are what we all want. With this combination, you achieve the above, as well as hydration and protection, which is the ideal base for a beautiful lipstick (especially matte).
