The new MacBook Air M4 & the updated Mac Studio have arrived: What's new!
Apple recently introduced two new products that incorporate the latest technological advancements: the new MacBook Air with the powerful M4 chip and the updated Mac Studio, available with the M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips. These devices offer significant improvements in performance, design, and functionality, meeting the needs of both everyday users and professionals.
MacBook Air with M4 Chip
The new MacBook Air is equipped with the advanced M4 chip, offering a significant increase in performance and improved energy efficiency. The M4 features 10 CPU cores (4 high-performance and 6 energy-efficient) and 10 GPU cores, providing up to 50% greater CPU performance and quadruple GPU performance compared to the M2. Additionally, the M4's Neural Engine can perform up to 38 trillion operations per second, doubling the performance compared to the M3.

The MacBook Air M4 maintains the slim and lightweight design of its predecessors , with a thickness of just 11.3 mm and a weight of 1.24 kg. It is available in two screen sizes: 13.6 inches and 15.3 inches, both featuring Liquid Retina technology with a wide color gamut (P3) and 500 nits brightness. A new addition is the "Sky Blue" color, which joins the existing options of "Midnight," "Starlight," and "Silver".
The battery life lasts up to 18 hours, allowing for extended use without the need for charging. The MacBook Air also features an improved 12MP camera with Center Stage technology for automatic face focusing during video calls. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt ports, and MagSafe magnetic charging. The audio system offers a three-dimensional experience, while the Touch ID function ensures secure access to the device.
The basic version of the 13-inch model starts at €1,249, while the 15-inch model starts at €1,549.

Mac Studio with M4 Max and M3 Ultra Chips
The updated Mac Studio offers two processor options: the M4 Max and the M3 Ultra, delivering excellent performance for professional applications.

The M4 Max features up to 16 CPU cores and a GPU with 32 to 40 cores, starting with 36 GB RAM, expandable up to 128 GB, and SSD storage from 512 GB to 8 TB. Apple states that the M4 Max is up to 3.5 times faster than the original M1 Max.
The M3 Ultra offers a CPU with up to 32 cores, a GPU with 60 to 80 cores, 96 GB RAM (expandable up to 512 GB), and storage from 1 TB to 16 TB. Both models feature Thunderbolt 5, enhancing connectivity and graphics performance.
The external design remains similar to its predecessor, with significant improvements in the internal components. Prices start at €2,569 for the model with M4 Max and €5,139 for the model with M3 Ultra.
