The new iPhone SE is coming with many changes

The iPhone SE has long been rumored to return in early 2025, and Apple has made official confirmations to shed light on the matter. The company’s CEO, Tim Cook, posted on his personal account on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that we will have announcements on the 19th of the month. For now, it is not clear what will be announced, as Apple’s chief only referred to it with the line “get ready to meet the newest member of our family. Wednesday, February 19 #AppleLaunch”. Speculation is centered around the iPhone SE, as well as the new iPads or the new M4 MacBook Air.

Journalist Mark Gurman, who is always well informed about Apple, says that next week we should definitely expect the unveiling of the iPhone SE 4 (or simply iPhone SE), and perhaps some other peripherals such as the new AirTags. If one tries to decode Tim Cook’s post on their own, it refers to only one product, and since no specific time is mentioned, we will simply wait until Wednesday afternoon to see a press release and a new video.

The information points to a new iPhone SE based on the design and form factor of the iPhone 14, with a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID instead of Touch ID, A18 SoC, and 8GB RAM so the device is ready to support Apple Intelligence. If there is anything extra, most expect the new M4 iPad Air and perhaps the new M4 MacBook Air.
