H Sony completed its first online
event for 2025, the State of Play, on the morning of Thursday, February 13. There we learned quite a bit of information about new games that
are on the way, and we also learned specific release dates for some others we had
seen in the past. Let’s take a look at the most important announcements.

Hell is Us 

Hell is Us was also presented and at first confused the audience, who thought we were talking about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The title, which will bring strong horror elements, will be released on September 4 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. 

Saros 

Housemarque has been loved by the public for the distinctive games it creates, and so after Returnal it returns with another new title. Its new sci-fi game is called Saros and will be released sometime in 2026 for the PS5.

Days Gone Remastered 

Days Gone by Bend Studio returns to the spotlight, this time in remastered form. The new game will feature an improved technical foundation, better graphics, and support for new rendering technologies. It will also come with Permadeath and Speedrun modes. If you have the old version, you will be able to upgrade for an amount close to 10 euros. 

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

We now have the official release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. In practice, this confirms the trailer that leaked in the previous period, and Konami's game is coming refreshed on 28 August 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. 

Onimusha: Way of the Sword 

The new Onimusha videogame was first revealed at last year’s Game Awards, and Capcom presented a new trailer, where it showed more of the protagonist, new action scenes, and also announced that it will be released sometime in 2026.

Borderlands 4

Gearbox officially announced the release date and a new trailer for Borderlands 4. The new installment of the series is expected on September 23 and will come with improved graphics, new jumping systems, and many weapons. More about the game will be revealed at a new event that will take place in the near future.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance 

SEGA's Shinobi is back, and now we have the final title. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is expected on August 29, and we also learned that it is being developed by the team behind Streets of Rage 4.
