What should I prepare for the kids’ party? Ideas for a nutritious and tasty menu!

The menu at children’s parties can be nutritious, tasty, and fun! If you want your child and their friends to enjoy the birthday while maintaining healthy eating habits, then I have the solution for you!

Since children often struggle with eating salad, aim for colorful salads with tasty, creamy dressing. You can prepare and keep in the refrigerator until serving, Chef’s salad with light mayonnaise, eggs, croutons, light cheeses, or Chicken salad with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken cut into strips, and cream cheese.

As for the main dishes, the buffet can include a variety of nutritious ideas you have prepared in the oven:

  • Cheese pies with phyllo pastry and a filling of yogurt, eggs, and cheese
  • Burger with cheese, chicken mince patties, lettuce, mustard, and ketchup
  • Club sandwich with cheese, grilled chicken, lettuce, and tomato slices
  • Small tortilla wraps with vegetable patties (carrot, sweet potato, broccoli, curry, turmeric) and cream cheese
  • Chicken skewers marinated in a sauce of yogurt, mustard, pepper, and olive oil
  • Homemade Margherita pizza made with flour, yeast, mozzarella, tomato slices, basil, baked on parchment paper in a baking tray
  • Pasta soufflé with low-fat cheeses and pieces of chicken

To share throughout the party, you can offer homemade popcorn, which you can make with olive oil in the pot. Another excellent idea is baked potatoes/sweet potatoes, tortilla triangles with paprika, and carrot sticks in the air fryer.

At the same time, children can enjoy fruit in the following ways: smoothies made from banana, milk, cocoa, homemade granita with strawberry, ice cubes, and honey, “banoffee” sandwiches made from banana slices, peanut butter, and chocolate.

Of course, you can make the little ones’ favorite cake with a chocolate sponge cake made from cocoa, pastry cream, couverture chocolate, and crushed biscuit!

NutriCareTip: It is recommended that before creating the menu, you ask the parents of the children you will invite about any possible allergies or gluten intolerance, so that you can adjust your preparations accordingly.
