Learn from the best!

What are the reasons you love tennis?

Our tennis players unanimously answered that tennis:

  1. Is the ideal sport for physical and mental health
  2. Reflects real life, some days are "good" and others not so much. You never know, though, until it's over
  3. There is always room for improvement. Something you can learn to become better

The tennis equipment plays a very important role in training and matches. But who will help us with something so important?

We asked professional tennis players, coaches, champions, athletes, and masters about the equipment they choose based on their extensive experience.

Below you will find the answers they gave us, and we are sure they will help you have even more "good" days in your games!

Rackets

How often should you change your racket?

It depends on the usage, the player's level, and the new models that are released.

  • If you play 1-2 times a week, then you can change it every 4 years.
  • If you play more regularly, then prefer to renew it every 2 years.

  • Head size: 100 sq in
  • Length: 68.58 cm / 27 in
  • Frame stiffness: 55
  • Balance: 31.5 cm

The Wilson Clash 100L V2 racket offers great flexibility and comfort in play. The head size of 645cm² will provide maximum accuracy in your shots.

The weight of 280gr combined with the balance point at 31.5cm will offer you better handling of the racket as well as excellent stability in powerful shots.

The 16×19 string pattern provides greater power in shots, while also contributing to the increase of spin. It is aimed at players seeking flexibility, power, and stability.

Which rackets would you recommend for an adult who is starting to learn?

If you are new to the sport, we recommend buying a lightweight racket from 270 to 290g.

Specifically, men should have rackets that weigh from 270 to 290g, while women on average should have rackets that are 10 to 15g lighter. The head size should be from 100 to 105 square inches.

Which rackets would you recommend for a child (6+ years old) who is starting to learn?

It depends on the height and body type of the child. However, prefer a junior racket.

Top recommendations for beginner children aged 6+ years old.

Tennis shoes

For clay courts:

Tennis shoes for clay surfaces have a herringbone-patterned outsole. They need soft shoes, for comfort while running and safe sliding.

With the torque control system in the heel load, it gives a sense of stability during abrupt movements. Renowned for its characteristic Gel technology in the heel and midsection, this shoe drastically reduces shocks and starts on the court.

Finally, it includes Ahar material in the outsole, which, combined with the Pguard protection system on the toes, increases traction on the court, while also making it more durable.
