Stayroula Papadaki

Stavroula Papadaki (Panagou-Papadaki) was born in Athens in 1979. She graduated with honors from the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied in the painting workshop of Rena Papaspirou (1998-2002). At the same institution, she also studied printmaking and mosaic art. In 2002, she attended courses in engraving and animation at the School of Fine Arts in Valencia, Spain. She holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Art Forms from the Athens School of Fine Arts, under the direction of Giorgos Charvalias. She participated in the 11th Biennale in Athens in 2003. In 2006, she won the 1st Prize in the International Online Competition Micropolis for her video "The Head." Her works have been published in books and magazines in Greece, France, Belgium, the UK, and the USA. She has held two solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions featuring her paintings, video art, and sculptures.
