Georgios Ioannidis

Georgios Ioannidis was born in Ammochori, Florina. He began painting as a child and later apprenticed under the painter Nikos Tamoutselis at the Phil-educational Society of Florina, where he participated in the group's art exhibition with a series of 12 ink drawings, several watercolors, and comics. In 2002, he enrolled in the "Decorative Arts" department of the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies in Athens. After completing his internship at a major architectural firm in Athens, he returned to Florina, where he actively participates in local cultural and environmental associations by designing posters, sets for children's theater performances, and small souvenir gifts. In October 2010, he participated with his group thesis project in the EADSA "DesignNOW" exhibition at the Apollon multi-space of the Piraeus prefecture. He expresses himself through paintings, creates with sketches, balances with compositions, juggles with design, and dreams with fairy tales. The publication "Dimitris and Fifi Make a Dietary Mistake" is his first book illustration, fulfilling a childhood dream.
