Eyagelia Agelidou

Evangelia Angelidou studied Biology at the University of Patras and completed her doctoral dissertation in Environmental Education at the School of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since the early stages of Environmental Education's emergence in the Greek educational landscape in the 1980s, she has focused on this field, actively contributing to its support, promotion, and development in Greek schools. She implements Environmental Education programs in middle and high schools across the country and engages in extensive research and educational work focused on the teaching methods of Environmental Education. She publishes related studies, educational pedagogical materials for Environmental Education, and articles in numerous international and Greek journals. Additionally, she teaches Environmental Education at the University of Athens and the University of Thessaly (Departments of Preschool Education). She serves in the Public Secondary Education sector and has extensive teaching experience and a rich educational portfolio, particularly in Environmental Education across all educational levels (students, university students, teachers, and secondary education professors). She is the Head of Environmental Education at the Directorate of Secondary Education of Eastern Attica, and her interests focus on teaching and learning methods in Environmental Education.
