Manos N. CHatzidakis

Manos N. Chatzidakis was born in Athens on January 2, 1974. He holds degrees in Social Sciences and Business Administration and is fluent in two foreign languages. He fulfilled his military service as a volunteer in the Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK) with the rank of Sergeant. Since 2004, he has been involved in historical research, book writing, and journalism. He is the author of the historical work "Journey to Glory 1936-1941" (published by "Logchi," 2005), which is a political, diplomatic, and military history of the 1940-41 Epic and the contribution of I. Metaxas. He is also the author of the political study "The Ideology of April 21st - An Analytical Study" (published by "Pelasgos," 2008), which is the first serious sociological, political, and ideological analysis of the period 1967-1973, based on primary sources. He has also edited the eighth volume of "Our Belief" (published by "Eleftheros Kosmos," 2004), supplementing the speeches of G. Papadopoulos from 1972 onwards. In addition to the above, he has written numerous articles on historical and political topics for daily and periodical press. He has edited publications and memoirs of historical figures as well as DVDs with unpublished archival material. He has also given television interviews on Mega ("Fakeloi") and Alpha ("Time Machine") programs.
