Maria Sakellariou

Maria Sakellariou is a Professor and former Chair of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Ioannina. She is also the Director of the Postgraduate Program in "Preschool Education" and the Director of the Laboratory of Pedagogy and Teaching Methodology at the Department of Early Childhood Education. Her research interests and writing focus on pedagogy and early childhood/primary education, particularly in the areas of teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation. Her articles and studies have been published in Greek and international scientific journals, collective volumes, proceedings of international and Greek conferences, and university department yearbooks. She has edited and authored the following books: - Introduction to Social and Pedagogical Work in Kindergarten, 2002. - Preschool Pedagogy: Reflections and Proposals (in collaboration with S.
