
Miltiadis Zervas
Miltiadis Zervas was born in Vathy, Samos. He graduated from Pythagorean High School in Samos and then from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Today, he works as a Mechanical Engineer and resides in Nea Makri, Attica. He has been involved in poetry since 1971.
His work has been honored in several competitions:
- In the Student Poetry Competition of the University of Athens in 1976 (Distinction)
- In the 1st Panhellenic Short Story and Poetry Competition of the General Confederation of Greek Workers in 1993 (Special Distinction)
- In the 9th Panhellenic Competition of Kouros Europou under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture in 2004 (Second Prize)
- In the 10th Panhellenic Competition of Kouros Europou under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture in 2005 (Commendation)
- In the 25th Poetry Competition of the Literary Society "Parnassos" in 2008 (Commendation).
He has published his poems in the literary magazines of Samos, "Apoplus" and "Methorios." In 2007, he published his poetry collection titled "The Missing Fragment" with Hyperorios Publications, and in 2010, "The Dominion of Rocks" with Ocelotos Publications.
