Stefanos Tsiodoulos

Stefanos Tsiodoulos was born in Ioannina in 1968. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in the workshop of Dimitris Mytaras. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of History and Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina (2005) and teaches Painting, Material Culture, and Folk Art at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Ioannina. He has held four solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He has authored the books: "The Painting of Zagori Houses, Late 18th-Early 20th Century, Historical and Cultural Approach," Rizarios Foundation, Athens 2009 (Athens Academy Award 2011); "Punishment, the Dark Side of Sexuality. Erotic Scenes and Their Silent Narratives in Depictions of Hell, 13th-19th Century," Futura, Athens 2012.
