Sotiris Mitralexis

Sotiris Mitralexis is a lecturer in philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a research fellow at the University of Winchester. He has served as an assistant professor of philosophy at Istanbul Sehir University and has worked as a researcher at Princeton University and the University of Cambridge. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Freie Universität Berlin, a Ph.D. in theology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Ph.D. in political science and international relations from the University of the Peloponnese. He studied philology and philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Freie Universität Berlin. Among his published works are "Ever-Moving Repose: A Contemporary Reading of Maximus the Confessor’s Theory of Time" (Oregon: Cascade, 2017), "Methodology and Theory of the History of Philosophy" (Athens: Kardamitsa, 2017), "Church-State Relations" (Athens: Armos, 2019), "Ludwig Wittgenstein between Analytic Philosophy and Apophaticism" (ed., Newcastle: Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2015), and "Slavoj Zizek and Christianity" (co-ed., New York: Routledge, 2019).
