Olga Kefalogianni

Olga Kefalogianni is a Greek lawyer and politician. She was born on April 29, 1975, and is the daughter of Ioannis Kefalogiannis, a former Member of Parliament and Minister, and Eleni Vardinogianni, from the renowned business family of Crete. She studied law at the University of Athens and completed postgraduate studies in Commercial and Business Law at King's College, University of London. In 2006, she earned a master's degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Boston. She practiced law for a few years, working, among other roles, in the legal service of the European Union, and served as a special advisor to Prime Minister Konstantinos Karamanlis on legal matters. Following her father's decision to retire from active politics at the end of his term, Olga Kefalogianni ran for office in her father's electoral district, the prefecture of Rethymno, in the 2007 elections. In September 2007, she was elected Secretary of the Parliament.
