Mary Kalantzis

Mary Kalantzis is a Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, USA, and the Dean of the College of Education at the same university. Her research focuses on multiculturalism and its impact on education and society. Her diverse and extensive work addresses issues of multilingualism, multiliteracies, and new technologies in education. She has worked for many years at universities in Australia and served as the Dean of the School of Education at RMIT University in Melbourne until 2006. She has published numerous books and articles.
