Nelli Kampouri

Nelli Kampouri holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since 2008, she has been working at the Gender and Equality Laboratory of Panteion University as a principal researcher in the GeMIC program (Gender, Migration and Intercultural Interactions in the Mediterranean and South East Europe). Concurrently, she is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Ioannina, participating in the program "Culture Identity and Movement: A Study in the Social Anthropology of the Everyday Life and Popular Representations of Immigrants from Pakistan in Nea Ionia" (Latsis Foundation). Previously, she worked at the Center for Social Morphology and Social Policy (KEKMOKOP) of Panteion University within the frameworks of the Pythagoras and EQUAPOL programs. She has published articles on migration, gender, and social movements in academic journals and collective volumes, and in 2007, she published the book "Gender, Migration, and Domestic Work in Athens."
