Gabriella Macrí

PhD in Comparative Literature and lecturer in Applied Translation Studies at the Department of Italian Language and Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she teaches Italian Literature, European Literature, and Literary Text Translation. She participates in the Joint Postgraduate Program in Translation and Interpretation at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her publications include: "La fortuna di Kavafis in Italia" (2006), "Il poeta e il suo doppio. Tre studi su traduzione poetica e intertestualità" (2006). She has translated into Italian novels and short stories by contemporary Greek authors, such as Rea Galanaki, Margarita Karapanou, Vassilis Vassilikos, Menis Koumandareas, and Alexis Stamatis.
