
Maria Fafaliou
Maria Fafaliou was born in 1950 and grew up in Athens. She lived for many years in London, where she had her three sons and completed postgraduate studies in social psychology. She is a founding member and executive of educational and cultural organizations in both England and Greece. In Athens, she founded the non-profit organization "Kaleidoscope" (1995-2014), where she worked on the psychosocial and professional rehabilitation of vulnerable groups, particularly individuals with mental health issues. She has authored books on social history, many in collaboration with Kostas N. Chatzipateras, with a focus always on personal testimonies. Material from these books has been used for theatrical performances, publications, and television and radio broadcasts in Greece and abroad.
