Panagiota Manoli

Panagiota Manoli is an elected lecturer in "Political Economy of International Relations" at the Department of Mediterranean Studies at the University of the Aegean. Since 2005, she has been the Director of Studies and Research at the International Center for Black Sea Studies. She served as Secretary of the Committee on Trade, Economic, Technological, and Environmental Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (Istanbul, 2000-2004). She worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and was an external Scientific Associate at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). She holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Ph.D. from the University of Warwick. She was a scholar of the Onassis Foundation and, in 2004, was awarded for her distinguished scientific contribution to the understanding of cooperation and security issues in the wider Black Sea region by the Black Sea University Foundation and the Commercial Bank of Romania. Her expertise lies in international political economy and regional integration.
