
Manos G. Papazoglou
Manos G. Papazoglou received his degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens in 2000. In 2001, he earned an MA in Political Philosophy, "The Idea of Toleration," from the University of York in the United Kingdom. In 2005, he obtained a PhD from the University of Essex, Department of Political Science, with the dissertation titled "Citizenship and Democratic Legitimacy in the European Union: Euro-Republicanism and the Concept of Responsive Citizenship." He served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of London, Goldsmiths College, Department of Politics, teaching undergraduate courses "Comparative European Politics" and "Introduction to European Politics" (2003-2004). He was also a Visiting Lecturer at London Metropolitan University, teaching the postgraduate course "Citizenship and the European Union" (2003), and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Essex, Department of Government, conducting seminars in political theory (2003-2004). At Panteion University, Department of Public Administration, he conducted seminars as part of the postgraduate course "Horizontal and Vertical EU Policies" (2005-06 and 2006-07). He was elected Lecturer of Political Systems in the Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2010. During 2005-2006, he served as an instructor in seminars organized by the Pedagogical Institute for secondary education teachers on EU topics.
- September 2007: Special Advisor at the Ministry of National Education on higher education policy issues.
- November 2004 - September 2007: Scientific Associate at the Hellenic Parliament. Participated in the Socrates Erasmus Program at the University of Paris XIII (2000). He has participated in numerous international conferences and writes for the newspaper "Ta Nea."
