Anna Pilavaki - Achilleos

Anna Pilavaki-Achilleos is the Deputy General Secretary of the Democratic Labour Federation of Cyprus (DEOK) and the President of the Cyprus Equality Observatory (PIK). She holds a degree in Public Administration and is a postgraduate student at the University of the Aegean in Rhodes. She represents her organization at international seminars and conferences and is an adult educator on gender equality issues. She has authored two training and awareness guides for ministry officials and trade union leaders on topics such as equal pay for work of equal value and sexual harassment in the workplace. She is a member of the National Mechanism for Women's Rights of the Ministry of Justice and Public Order and a member of the Gender Equality Committee in Employment and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance in Cyprus.
