
Giorgos Kouzas
Giorgos Kouzas was born in 1981 and raised in Athens. He studied Philology at the School of Philosophy of Athens, graduating in 2003 with honors. In 2004, after successfully passing the exams at the State Scholarships Foundation, he was awarded a scholarship and admitted to the Postgraduate Program of the Department of Philology, specializing in Folklore. He completed his postgraduate studies in 2006 and continued with his doctoral dissertation in the same field at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Athens.
His work includes "The Archive of the 'Folklore Workshop' by G. A. Megas. Detailed Catalogue, Appendix 12 of the Hellenic Folklore Society" (in collaboration with M. G. Varvounis), Athens 2007. He has published articles in scientific journals and honorary volumes and has participated in Folklore conferences. He is a member of the Hellenic Folklore Society, the Philological Association "Parnassos," the Hellenic Onomatology Society, and other scientific organizations.
