Myrofora Eystathiadou

Born in Thessaloniki in 1978, she was introduced to Pontic culture from a young age by her father, Stathis Efstathiadis, accompanying him on numerous recordings, primarily in historical Pontus. She is a graduate of the Department of Early Childhood Education (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and a senior student in the Department of History and Ethnology (Democritus University of Thrace), specializing in "Ethnology." She has attended courses in Byzantine music and is proficient in English, Italian, and Turkish. She has edited CDs of Pontic music and books on Pontic subjects. She visits Pontus annually, conducting recordings and guided tours. She is the President of the Faros Pontion and the mother of two boys, Stathis and Iasonas.
