Ntina Vaiou

Dina Vaiou is a professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Her research interests, numerous publications in Greece and abroad, and conference presentations include: feminist critique of urban studies, the changing characteristics of local labor markets with an emphasis on the functions of the informal sector, and the impacts of migration on cities in Southern Europe, particularly the migration of women. She is a member of the editorial boards of the journals European Planning Studies, European Journal of Women's Studies, Social and Cultural Geography, and Geographies.
