Ilias K. Petropoulos

Ilias Petropoulos serves as an Associate Professor of Ancient History at the Democritus University of Thrace. He studied History and Archaeology on a scholarship and earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of History at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He has written several articles and edited five foreign-language volumes on ancient Greek colonies and religious monuments in the Black Sea region.
