Maria - Ageliki Stamouli

Maria Angeliki Stamouli was born in Athens and studied Statistics & Insurance Science at the University of Piraeus. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Informatics, during which she participated in research projects at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Glasgow, supported by a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Additionally, she has worked for several years as a scientific/laboratory associate at the Athens University of Applied Sciences, focusing on statistical information processing. She has also served as a specialist scientist at the Cyprus University of Technology (in the Nursing and Mental Health Nursing degree simulation program, School of Health Sciences, course: Health Technology and Informatics) and has undertaken teaching duties at the National School of Local Government on topics related to statistical research methodology and decision-making. She has worked as a statistician at the "SOTIRIA" General Hospital of Thoracic Diseases and at the central service of the Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance. Currently, she works as a statistician at the Hellenic Statistical Authority. She has research and writing contributions in the fields of Statistics and Health Informatics.
