Konstantina Ritsatou

Konstantina Ritsatou is a lecturer in theater studies. She graduated from the Chania School of Early Childhood Education (1984) and the School of Philosophy at the University of Crete (1994). She holds a master's degree in theater studies and musicology from the Department of Philology at the University of Crete (1998). Her doctoral dissertation focused on "The Contribution of A. R. Rangavis to the Development of Modern Greek Theater" (1999-2004). She served in primary education for seventeen years. She worked as a researcher in the Department of Theater at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004-2006). Her research interests include the history of modern Greek theater, with an emphasis on the 19th century, and theater pedagogy. Her articles and studies have been published in scientific journals and collective volumes.
