Antonis Skiathas

Antonis Skiathas was born in Athens in 1960 and currently resides in Patras. He is a poet, anthologist, and literary critic. His poetry collections include: "Border Cemetery" (1983), "The Horse of the Waves" (1990), "Border Cemetery. The Horse of the Waves" (1992), "Summer Anemourio" (1993), "Fantasies of a Traveler" (1996), "Hail Century" (2002), "Poems-Summary" (1983-2006) (2006), "Spring Anniversary of Love" (2008), "Hospitable City" (2010), "Eugenia" (2016), and "The Only Faithful Tenant" (trilingual collector's edition, 2018). His poems have been translated into 11 languages and included in anthologies in Greece and abroad. His articles and essays on poetry, history, and education have been published in newspapers and magazines. He is a member of the Society of Authors and the Circle of Poets. In the 1990s, he co-directed the literary magazine "Elitrochos." Subsequently, he created and manages the "Poetry Office" and the "Jean Moréas" Poetry Prize.
