Petros Mechtidis

Petros Mechtidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1971. He is an archaeologist and art conservator, currently working at the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Since 2000, he has published articles and books on the history and culture of Asia Minor. He collaborated with the Foundation of the Hellenic World as a researcher, contributing to the compilation of entries for the Encyclopedia of the Hellenic World - Asia Minor. He has presented papers at conferences in Greece and Turkey. He is also a collector of archival material related to Constantinople and Asia Minor.
