Pantelis Vatikiotis

Pantelis Vatikiotis is a Lecturer (P.D. 407/80) in the Department of Plastic Arts and Art Sciences at the University of Ioannina. He holds a degree in Sociology from Panteion University and pursued postgraduate studies in Communication at the University of Westminster, where he also earned his Ph.D. He has published articles and book reviews in international journals such as Westminster Papers in Communication and Culture, Media, Culture and Society, and Transformations Journal, and has participated in international conferences. He is a founding member of the Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IKOM), a member of the editorial team of the scientific journal Westminster Papers in Communication and Culture, and part of the Network OURMedia/NuestrosMedios, a global network of academics, activists, and practitioners working toward stronger alternative, community, and citizen's media.
