Daniel Young

Daniel Young is the author of "The Bistros, Brasseries, and Wine Bars of Paris," a follow-up to his initial exploration of the cafe lifestyle, which was the book "The Paris Cafe Cookbook." He is also the author of "Made in Marseille" and "The Rough Guide to New York City Restaurants" and is currently preparing a book about cafes around the world. A former restaurant critic for the New York Daily News, he has written articles on gastronomy and restaurants for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Gourmet Magazine, Bon Appetit Magazine, and Conde Nast Traveler. He is a native New Yorker.
