Dimitris Kousouris

Dimitris Kousouris was born in Piraeus in 1974. He graduated from the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Athens and defended his doctoral dissertation in 2009 at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. He has worked as a visiting professor and researcher at the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Crete, at EHESS, and at the Universities of Princeton, Chicago, and Konstanz. He has published extensive articles in Greek and international academic journals, as well as in collective volumes. His research focuses on the relationships between war and politics in 20th-century Europe, the 1940s, collective memory, and the history of historiography.
