Stratos Dordanas

Stratos Dordanas was born in 1968 in Stuttgart, Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary History from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has taught as a specialist scientist in the Department of Journalism and Mass Media at Aristotle University, and since early 2006, he has been teaching in the Department of Balkan Studies in Florina at the University of Western Macedonia. His research interests focus on the study of German-Greek relations in the 20th century, as well as issues related to the history of Greek Macedonia during that period. He specializes in political-diplomatic and social history, the study of wars, and civil conflicts, with a focus on the two World Wars.
