Ioannis Nikolaou

Ioannis Nikolaou is an Occupational/Organizational Psychologist and a Lecturer in Organizational Behavior at the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE). He completed his postgraduate studies (MSc, PhD) with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) at the Manchester School of Management, UK (UMIST, 1999). He gained professional experience working as Deputy Director in the Human Resources Advisory Services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as Head of Training at Egnatia Bank before transitioning to academia. He has published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, and his research interests focus on the field of Organizational Behavior/Psychology and Human Resource Management, specifically on the study of individual differences in personnel selection and evaluation, work stress, and organizational change. He teaches courses in Organizational Behavior/Psychology and Human Resource Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has extensive experience in providing consulting services on Human Resources issues and in-house executive training programs for Greek and multinational companies.
