Dimitris I. Stratoulis

Dimitris Stratoulis was born in 1958 in Astakos, Aetolia-Acarnania. He holds degrees from the Department of Law and the Department of Political Science and Law in Athens and a Ph.D. in labor relations from the General Department of Law at Panteion University. He works in the Labor Issues Subdivision (Labor Legislation) at OTE. He has served as a workers' representative, a member of the Board of Directors, and the Representative Assembly for Social Control at OTE, as well as a member of the Administration of the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and Secretary of Social Policy. He was a member of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE). Since 1991, he has been with the Coalition of the Left, where he is consistently elected as a member of its Central Political Committee. He is a member of the political secretariat of the Coalition, responsible for labor policy. He is a co-author of the book "Unemployment and Employment in Greece" (Modern Era, 1991), as well as numerous scientific, political, and trade union articles in newspapers and magazines on issues of labor relations, employment, and social security.
